David vanOrman has been farming from the day he learned to
walk. Growing up on a family farm in Central Illinois,
David learned the work ethic that still serves him today.
He attended the University of Illinois and received a
bachelors degree in advertising/journalism. David's
imagination sometimes gets him into trouble, though. The
untrained ear may have difficulty knowing when he is
serious! He channels his imagination and love of writing
into numerous short articles and stories of the individuals
he meets (you may read many of them on this website). He is
also a people-person who is anxious to share what God has
done in his life and wants to do for others.
