Marinela (or Nela) joined the Bright Star team in January
2001, just as Planters changed it's direction to working with children.
Nela can be found leading in a variety of capacities from teaching memory work
to demonstrating the right way to make that construction paper butterfly.
Her favorite role though, involves music. A recent graduate from
University in flute performance, Nela enjoys leading the children in song
whether by flute or with her voice. According to Nela, "Music brings
such joy to the children and leads them into worship of God."
Nela was married in November 2003 and moved to South Africa
with her new husband. We miss her tremendously and wish her
many blessings on her marriage.
