Bible for the Small
These are our “wee ones.”
They fall in the category of too small for our quizzing program and too big
to sit on a phone book.
We pay special attention
to these guys. We have to! Like a cloud of winged insects they buzz about
knees and skirts. They are the little ones, small links in an even smaller
chain in the village of Vlashaj. You learn their ways. With eyes bright and wide you can
follow their little white faces as they flicker about; some disciplined, some
not, as they position themselves in the room. Who will be on the first row
for puppets is never in doubt!
Armed only with glue, all of
our young opponents are equal. Socrates said, ”It is dangerous to
confuse children with angels.” He’s right. Clothed in the
disguise of a child these tiny ones stake their claim to a bottle.
With the glue sticking here and there sometimes on the craft and sometimes
not most finally get their fingers stuck to the table. Contentment is
disclosed by smiles and eventually all are happy again.
Vlashaj kids are such a
tonic for adults. Matt 18:4,5 4Therefore,
whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of
heaven. 5"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in
my name welcomes me. |
