Praying
Keep on Praying….It Makes a Difference
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the
rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12
In
Marikaj last spring, it seems a group of kids
pressured and made fun of many of the children attending the Bright Star
Program. The group said the children shouldn’t go anymore because their
families were Muslims and by their attending they were not being good, loyal
Albanians. As a result about 10 of the children stopped participating.
The Bright Star Team became concerned because some of these
children had been faithful to the meetings for a long time. After much prayer,
the team determined that they should visit the parents of the absentee children.
Marinela visited a home and talked with
the family about this situation and how much their daughter was missed at the
meetings. The family’s response was warm, but nothing changed immediately.
The team was encouraged, however, when during the first week
of August, the girl whose family was visited, began coming back to the meetings.
Praise God!
Never think that prayer isn’t important.
