Brunilda

She stood out from the others.  Her singing was enthusiastic, the light in her eyes was bright and excited.  Her motions to the words of the children's songs were animated and deliberate.  We were in a room full of happy children yet we couldn't take our eyes off this one.  Something about her was different...

At the conclusion of the meeting, I introduced myself to her and asked her for her name.  

"Brunilda," she said.  

The nine-year old, carried a Bible story book in her hand that she received at the Marikaj Bright Star meeting almost a year ago.  This hardback, illustrated book (with text in Albanian) is given to children who attend the meetings faithfully.  

Upon asking about this book, Brunilda explained that every night she reads a Bible story out of the book to her four-year old brother, Genci.  Their favorite story is the raising of Jarius’ daughter from the dead. 

When asked if she loves Jesus, Brunilda said, “Of course, He did good things for me.” She proceeded to share with me the plan of salvation. 

Thank you for the opportunity to work with precious young ones like Brunilda.  Please pray for her continued spiritual growth and evangelistic spirit to her brother and neighborhood friends.
