In My Heart

Mouse is always faded. Toes always play peek-a-boo from ragged socks. Sadly,
shovels forever fit their hands. We are all persuaded by images of little
children. Finding harbor in impoverished villages, Albanian youngsters struggle
daily against hardships unfamiliar to most of us.
Albanians have a proverb that I’ve American-ized and have grown to love. They say, If you live in my heart, you
live rent free. Once a child resides in a special place in each of us, they
have all the privileges we have to offer at no cost. The expense we tally in
some relationships are erased in favor of a love that has no denomination.
Jesus does the same! We live free from
sin in Him and He reminds us to consider who we let live rent free in us. Eph
3:16&17
